A scan read my drink wrong

Every scan is editable — tap any field on the result to correct it before saving, and the corrected values are what get stored. Scans work best on the front label with the shelf price in frame, in even light. If a label won't read at all, "Enter manually" records the drink without using a scan.

What do the free limits cover?

A free account includes unlimited manual drink entry, the drink tracker, groups, group chat, Beer Time, and a selection of cocktail recipes. Glugg Pro adds unlimited label scanning, the full recipe collection, price comparison, spending stats, and the party planner.

Managing or cancelling your subscription

Subscriptions are billed by Apple, not by us, so they're managed in your Apple account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep Pro until the period you've paid for ends. Deleting your Glugg account does not cancel the subscription — do both if you want both.

Changed device or reinstalled? Settings → Restore purchases re-links a subscription bought with the same Apple ID.

Deleting your account and data

Settings → Delete account permanently removes your account, scans, tracker sessions and Gluggs. It cannot be undone. To keep a copy first, use Settings → Download my data.

About the BAC estimate

The tracker shows an estimate calculated from a Widmark total-body-water model using the height, weight, age and body composition you enter. It is not a breathalyzer and not a medical device. Individual responses to alcohol vary widely with food, medication, health and other factors the model cannot see. Never use it to decide whether to drive or to make any other safety decision.

Reporting someone in a group

Press and hold any message to report it, or block that person from the group members list — blocking hides their messages from you and is never disclosed to them. Group owners can also remove members from group settings. Reports reach us at the address above, and we act on content that breaks the rules in our Terms.
